This elopement in 5 Terre is one of the most unconventional shooting we’ve ever made and you have to see this beauty!
We went to Manarola the day before the shooting for doing an inspection and discover the best places for some cinematic photos with Valeria, the event creator. The atmosphere here is timeless: the old tower house are colorful, the town is connected by stairs and you can find little panoramic spots everywhere. On the main street you can see turquoise and red wooden ships, full of fish nets, ready to take the fisherman to their work on the sea.
Katy and Mike, the super couple, wanted an unconventional and informal elopement, so everything was a mix of tradition and innovation.
They made an Italian “aperitivo” in one of the coolest location of Manarola: the “Nessun Dorma”, a bar with an amazing panoramic view. Katy was wearing lace shorts and a silk shirt from Maura Brandino and a super cool turban from Beffi Studio.
They got married in the city center, surrounded by the flowers created by I giardini di Giava.
At the sunset they decided to make a bath, Katy bought a swimsuite in a local shop (gp store 1971) and this photo session has been epic.
