This destination wedding has been intimate and romantic. Cristina and Mattia are two lovely guys from Switzerland bounded by a deep love and mutual respect. Together they joke and make irony but they always help each other. They’ve chosen Italy for their wedding ceremony and party, with friend from all over Europe.
Cristina is a wedding planner and she have chosen, for her wedding, a rustic and charming location on the panoramic top of a hill: Borgo della Rocca. This place is totally enchanting. The theme of the wedding was the cinema, a common passion of Cristina and Mattia.
The unplugged ceremony under the secular trees has been touching and lovely. Cristina’s best friend burst into tears in the middle of her speech. And we can’t forget the best man and his watery eyes.
After the ceremony we made some shoots in the park, with an amazing view of the hills at the sunset. Meanwhile the guests took an aperitivo in the courtyard an waited the arrival of Cristina and Mattia with the popcorns, instead of the traditional rice.
The dinner room was decorated with movie posters.
The tables was full of scented eucalyptus, burgundy hydrangeas and pink carnations.
The placeholders was dedicated to famous film character, like Hannibal Lecter and Luna Lovegood.
The catering was taken care of by Marco Sacco of Piccolo Lago, with the inevitable carbonara “au coque”, a dish that is scenically impeccable as well as excellent.
After the dinner Cristina and Mattia organized a dj-set with fig ice-cream, dancing people and funny polaroids. At the end of the party this two incredible guys leave, as wedding favors, some glass jars with peanuts for an home movie night. Isn’t it cool?!
